🎄 Merry Christmas from Map Controller 1.1 🎄

The Map Controller plugin now supports maps with multiple root objects, making it possible to control some maps that didn't use to be editable.

Note that due to the way some mods are set up, there may be some objects that show up in this list that aren't part of the map and shouldn't be modified. Be careful to only control the actual map your you may get unexpected results!

Silhouette plugin 1.0 for StudioNEOV2

 If you've ever tried to make a scene with a lot of characters in StudioNEO, you know that the framerate can drop into the single digits, turning the UI sluggish and unresponsive so that it's very cumbersome to edit the scene. This new plugin aims to make this easier by letting the user toggle displaying characters that aren't currently being edited as low-poly "silhouettes" that render much faster. These low-poly models are built into the game, they can be enabled manually by toggling the "Monocolor" setting in the "Current State" menu, but this plugin automates their use!

How to use:

  • Press the hotkey (default: 'W') to turn all characters that are not currently selected into low-poly silhouettes. Press W again to toggle them back to normal.
  • Hold W for about a second to set all characters as silhouettes, including selected characters. This is useful when you want to reposition a large group of characters.
  • To make it easier to tell silhouetted characters apart, when you add a character to the scene their monocolor value will be set to a small variety of shades. The color indicates the gender of the character;
    • Pink for females
    • Blue for males
    • Turquoise for futanaris
  • Not that this feature is only active when you add a new character to a scene after installing this plugin. In your existing scenes the silhouettes will all probably be the default blue. You can manually change the color in the "Current State" menu if you want more variety. You can also disable this coloring in the mod config menu if you prefer the default blue for all characters.
  • Some monocolor values have special meaning:
    • White means the character will be as normal, not silhouettes, even when they're not selected
    • Characters with colors that are transparent, meaning alpha values at anything less than 100, will be ignored by the plugin. This can be useful if you want to use silhouettes for a large background crowd but still use the plugin when posing your main characters.

Finally, a shout out to my friend Maxim who is making Hot Springs Academy, a harem style visual novel with graphics and animations rendered in StudioNEO. It's got an overload of cute and hot high school girls, and a pretty funny story as well!
